The organization is known for its deep local market expertise, client-focused approach, and commitment to helping individuals and businesses achieve their real estate goals. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections across residential and commercial properties to ensure buildings, equipment, and systems remain safe and fully operational. You will troubleshoot maintenance issues, respond to service requests, coordinate with vendors when needed, and maintain accurate records while providing responsive, high-quality service to residents, tenants, and property teams. Role & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success:
- Perform general maintenance and repair work across assigned properties.
- Complete interior and exterior painting and touch-up work as needed.
- Respond to and complete scheduled maintenance requests and AppFolio work orders.
- Travel between properties as assigned while keeping work organized and on schedule.
- Troubleshoot routine property maintenance issues and complete repairs within the scope of experience.
- Assist with a variety of maintenance responsibilities and remain flexible as priorities change.
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, potentially about one weekend per month; many after-hours calls may be able to wait until normal business hours.
- Maintain dependable attendance, follow through on assigned work, and use work time efficiently.
- Shadow experienced team members during training and become familiar with the different properties.

- Relevant hands-on maintenance, repair, construction, facilities, or similar work experience.
- Strong reliability and a consistent work history.
- Ability to stay on task, work independently, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
- Willingness to work onsite in downtown Buffalo and travel among assigned properties.
- Flexibility to participate in the rotational on-call schedule.
- Open-minded, coachable attitude with an interest in learning and advancing.
- Comfort working across different maintenance responsibilities rather than focusing on only one trade.
Preferred Qualifications
- A couple of years of general maintenance or repair experience.
- Basic HVAC and/or plumbing experience.
- Interest in building a long-term career in property maintenance and taking on greater responsibility over time.
