Hire Priority Staffing is seeking an experienced EPA-Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in North Austin. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who can assist the Maintenance Supervisor with HVAC troubleshooting, complete service requests, support make-readies, and help keep the community clean, functional, and resident-ready.
We are looking for someone with solid apartment maintenance experience who is comfortable working with HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, and electrical repairs in a fast-paced property environment. This community offers 1- and 2-bedroom apartment homes with amenities including two resort-style pools with spa, a fitness center, dog park, clubhouse, and trail access near Walnut Creek Park, in a North Austin location near Tech Ridge and The Domain.
Job Details:
- Pay: $24-$25 per hour, depending on experience
- Location: North Austin, TX 78753
- Position: EPA-Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician
- Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Position Type: Temp-to-hire
- On-call availability required
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Experienced with AquaTherm systems and gas water heaters
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing, and electrical issues
- Support make-ready work to prepare vacant units for new resident move-in
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
- Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community
- Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize daily work orders and summer turn needs
Qualifications:
- EPA certification required
- Previous apartment maintenance experience required
- Experience troubleshooting HVAC systems required
- Knowledge of AquaTherm systems and gas water heaters required
- Experience with appliances, plumbing, and electrical repairs required
- Make-ready experience preferred
- Must be willing to work an on-call schedule
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to provide valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States, and complete the application and interview process
