Doorvest is a growing property management company seeking a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to support our expanding Florida portfolio.

This is a flexible, field-based opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting prospective residents, and turning leads into successful leases. You’ll play an important role in the leasing experience, from initial inquiries and property tours through application and move-in coordination.

What You’ll Do

- Conduct in-person property tours throughout St. Petersburg and surrounding areas
- Proactively follow up with leads and encourage qualified prospects to apply
- Build rapport with prospective residents and answer questions about available homes and the leasing process
- Manage your lead pipeline and maintain consistent follow-up
- Coordinate with the Leasing Team on applications, approvals, and upcoming move-ins
- Complete property walkthroughs and report maintenance or property condition concerns
- Assist with lockboxes, signage, and property photos as needed
- Provide local insight on rental pricing, competition, prospect feedback, and market conditions
- Maintain professional, timely, and responsive communication with prospects

What We’re Looking For

- \n
- Active Florida real estate license required
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Strong communication, sales, follow-up, and customer service skills
- Proactive, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Leasing, real estate, property management, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable using smartphones, Google Workspace, and property management/leasing software
- Flexible availability based on showing demand, including some evenings and weekends
- Comfortable traveling to properties throughout St. Petersburg and surrounding areas

Schedule & Compensation
\n
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with a flexible schedule based on leasing and showing demand. Compensation is $35,000 annually plus a bonus for each signed lease, providing additional earning potential based on leasing performance.

\n
The role is primarily field-based with some remote work and regular travel to properties throughout the local area. As our Florida portfolio expands, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and grow with the team.
