Part Time Maintenance Worker/ Handyman

Job DescriptionCelebrate the Children, a NJ State Approved Private School for the Disabled located in Denville, NJ is looking for a part time, experienced maintenance worker to specifically support upkeep of the outside grounds. Maintenance includes keeping grounds safe, tidy and kept. The grounds are expansive.

Responsibilities:

• Painting
• Power Washing
• Planting
• Tending to different outdoor educational areas
• Safety inspections of different structures
• Wood staining
• Reporting any areas that need support to Facility Manager
• Landscaping/ Mulch
• Experience with wetlands a plus
• Daily outdoor inspection
• Outdoor Carpentry
• Prioritizing safety for students navigating the grounds
• Etc/ any other outdoor maintenance needed

A salary range is provided in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final salary is determined using a structured salary grid, taking into account years of relevant experience and educational qualifications, and is subject to the maximum limits established by the New Jersey Department of Education and the discretion of the Board of Directors.
