Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Emerald Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hollywood, Florida. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing general maintenance and repair tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and repairing interior and exterior surfaces of the facility

• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and appliances

• Assist with building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC

• Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of tasks

• Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to management

• Assist with special projects and events as needed

Requirements:

• 0-1 year of maintenance experience preferred

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
