Job Description Badger State Staffing is seeking dependable Janitorial Workers to maintain clean, orderly, and sanitary office environments throughout the Fox Valley. In this hands-on role, you will clean shared spaces, care for floors, and use cleaning equipment and chemical agents according to safety procedures. Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, work areas, and common spaces using appropriate supplies and equipment.
- Operate floor buffers and perform routine floor care, including buffing, while following equipment instructions.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely, follow safety protocols, and store supplies appropriately.
- Move supplies and equipment using safe lifting practices; perform heavy lifting when required by the role.
- Report maintenance needs and support facilities maintenance; provide courteous customer service and porter support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior commercial or residential cleaning experience is highly desired
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry cleaning supplies or equipment (often up to 25-50 lbs.)
- Dependable attendance
- Familiarity with standard cleaning techniques (e.g., mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation)
- Thoroughness in ensuring commercial spaces consistently meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to pass a standard criminal background check
