Hello, calling all local professionals seeking a new position where you have the opportunity to learn about leasing consulting while using your existing sales experience to rent apartments to qualifying residents. We are looking to hire full-time leasing agents for the areas of San Diego, north and east county (San Marcos and Alpine). The qualifications are that you must be friendly, welcoming & helpful to existing and prospective residents. We have found that employees motivated to earn commission on top of their existing salary are the most successful in this position. Duties

  • Assist prospective tenants by providing information about available properties and guiding them through the leasing process.
  • Conduct property tours and showcase amenities to potential residents, highlighting the benefits of living in our community.
  • Manage lease agreements, ensuring all documentation are completed accurately and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests through effective data entry practices.
  • Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts promptly while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues reported by residents.
  • Stay informed about Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines to ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
  • Utilize property management software such as OneSite for efficient tracking of leases and tenant communications.

Experience

  • Previous experience in leasing administrative or property management administrative roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with property maintenance processes is advantageous for effective communication with maintenance teams.
  • Strong phone etiquette is essential for engaging with prospective tenants and addressing their needs professionally.
  • Proven conflict management skills to handle tenant concerns effectively while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Proficiency in data entry and office tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient operations.
