Job DescriptionNow Hiring: Maintenance Technician
Are you a hands-on problem solver with experience in building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance? Join our team and play a vital role in keeping our facility operating safely and efficiently!
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance for warehouse and office facilities.
- Replace indoor and outdoor lighting, ballasts (120V/277V), and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and complete minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs.
- Repair and maintain pallet racking, displays, office furniture, and facility fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and repair pallet wrap machines and other warehouse equipment.
- Perform landscaping duties including weed control and bush trimming.
- Change HVAC filters and maintain water fountains.
- Paint offices, restrooms, poles, and other facility areas as needed.
- Operate warehouse floor sweeper and maintain clean work areas.
- Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and company vehicles.
- Keep the tool room and outdoor maintenance areas clean and organized.
- Assist with fixture installation and mounting projects.
- Conduct routine building safety inspections, including:
- Fire pump testing
- Fire exit sign inspections
- Eye wash station inspections
- Other required safety checks
- Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment and machinery.
- Support continuous improvement and facility enhancement projects.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
