Role Description The Leasing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Clermont, FL, responsible for supporting the community’s occupancy and resident satisfaction goals. Day-to-day tasks include greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, explaining lease terms, and highlighting community features and amenities. The role also involves managing leasing applications, processing required documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry in property management systems. The Leasing Specialist responds to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, follows up with leads, and assists with renewals and resident retention efforts. Additional responsibilities may include preparing marketing materials, updating online listings, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and collaborating with maintenance and management teams to maintain a high standard of service.\n
Qualifications

  • Experience with leasing, property management, or residential real estate, including conducting tours and handling lease documentation.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents.
  • \n

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone and email etiquette.
  • \n

  • Basic proficiency with computers and property management or CRM software, as well as calendar and email tools.
  • \n

  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple inquiries, appointments, and administrative tasks.
  • \n

  • Ability to work on-site in Clermont, FL, including some evenings or weekends as community needs require.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, real estate, or a related field is beneficial.
  • \n

  • Prior experience in multifamily housing, hospitality, or sales is preferred but not required.
