Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Service Technician - II (Fire Alarm & NICET) to join our team. This role involves providing on-site service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and special hazard fire suppression systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing fire alarm equipment, with specific experience working with leading manufacturers such as Kidde, Fike, Notifier, FCI, and others. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, technical expertise, and customer service are paramount.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
Service and maintain special hazard fire suppression systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Diagnose system issues accurately and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Document all service activities thoroughly and maintain detailed records of system conditions and repairs performed.
Communicate clearly with clients regarding system status, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments, manufacturer updates, and certification requirements.

Experience

A minimum of two years’ experience servicing fire alarm systems and special hazard fire suppression systems is required.
Experience working with manufacturers such as Kidde, Notifier, and FCI is preferred.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm system components, wiring diagrams, and testing procedures.
NICET certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
