Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week
Pay: $16.90 per hour
Pay Frequency: Biweekly

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Production & Facility Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout our bakery manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for cleaning production areas, floors, workspaces, and other facility areas while following company sanitation and food-safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, floors, walls, workstations, and common areas.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Remove trash, debris, and waste from production and facility areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and other designated areas.
• Assist with cleaning bakery production equipment as directed.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to company procedures.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety requirements.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, spills, or safety hazards to a supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery manufacturing environment.
• Perform additional cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, sanitation, warehouse, or food-production experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Food manufacturing or bakery sanitation experience is a plus.
