The Custodial Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and administrative activities at multiple buildings on the customer's campus. Oversee inspections, training, and development, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned buildings.

This position is hourly - starting pay is $27.00/hour.

Essential Functions:
\n

- Assign tasks to workers based on job requirements as specified by the contract or special assignments requested by the customer.
- Ensure company standards are met in compliance with janitorial operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within the specified budget of labor and expense.
- Train new staff and oversee ongoing training of existing employees in proper cleaning methods and use of equipment, safety practices, and regulations.
- Perform daily quality control inspections.
- Ensure weekly payroll is appropriately submitted for processing.
- Complete and submit employee change forms to Human Resources as needed.
- Oversight of floor care team when needed.
- Assists in safety programs follow-through by Safety Coordinators to ensure compliance with all safety policies.
- Ensure building complies with all State and Federal guidelines as well as ABM policies.
- Determine materials, supplies, and equipment needs and submit requests to the Manager for approval.
- Performs various cleaning duties when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
\n

- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a service/customer-oriented environment.
- Must be able to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
- Ability to give information and effectively communicate one-on-one with clients, employees, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers.
- Ability to resolve issues under tight timeframes and pressure.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Demonstrated willingness to work non-standard days and hours as required.
- High school graduate or equivalent GED.
- Must be able to perform regular property inspections for several hours a day.
- Must have the ability to operate machinery required for duties according to safety standards. Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties, including maneuvering, pushing, bending, and lifting of equipment and materials (minimum of 20 lbs.).
