Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- 2-4 years industrial experience as a millwright is required
- Experience with rebuilding gear boxes, shaft alignment on heavy industrial equipment, bearing installation is desired
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of overall cement plant operations, or comparable heavy industrial environment, is preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks associated with maintaining mechanical systems throughout the plant
- Assists with preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Interacts with members of Process Areas on a regular basis to gather or communicate information, solve problems, etc
- Works rotating shift schedule and weekends as assigned
- Participates in formal and on-the job training programs to acquire/broaden both technical and non-technical job skills
