Specialty Underwriters LLC is looking for a qualified and dedicated employee who wants to grow in a service-oriented organization. This position manages a broad range of equipment maintenance for healthcare, scientific research, university, banking and governmental clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive inbound telephone calls, coordinate service and manage the maintenance repair process for accounts throughout the United States
- Evaluate service events and negotiate a positive outcome to the mutual benefit of our company and our client
- Source alternative service and part providers to drive service quality up and costs down
- Be a technical resource to sales, account managers and other operational departments
- Network with our clients and service providers to further develop our pool of service and part suppliers
Qualified candidates must possess the following skills/abilities:
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and part sourcing for hospital, laboratory and IT environments is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving abilities while making practical decisions
- Be able to manage multiple tasks at one time including navigating phone & computer systems while on calls
- Must be able to deliver a high level of customer service over the phone
- Recognize the importance of client satisfaction and work to achieve this daily
- Prior call center experience beneficial but not require
- Effective phone skills while dealing with internal and external customers
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in MS Office products, multiple computer applications and the Internet.
- Education: Associates Degree in related field or one to three years’ equivalent work experience.
Working hours:
- Variable first shift hours Monday through Friday.
- Must be able to periodically provide after hours on call support
