Position Summary

We are seeking a 2ND Shift Maintenance Supervisor for the afternoon shift to lead a union workforce, act as a first responder to technical breakdowns, and ensure safety/food quality standards.

Shift: 2nd. Must have weekend and holiday availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Supervise and assign crew members in a union environment; fill in for the Maintenance Manager when needed.
- Rapid Troubleshooting: Act as first responder to equipment/system breakdowns to maximize production uptime.
- Operations & Compliance: Execute daily shift plans (preventative maintenance, work orders) while promoting strict safety, GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate seamless shift handoffs and collaborate with Production, QA, and R&D.

Requirements
\n

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in food/dairy processing (Mixing, Blending, Retort, packaging, and sanitation).
- Technical Skill: Experience with high-volume, highly automated machinery.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree OR 1–2 years of equivalent technical experience/training.

Pay: $90,000-$110,000 a year
