Keep the Machines Running and the Ink Flowing: Digital Print Shop Maintenance Technician
Location: Roxana, IL | Schedule: Standard business hours | Pay: $18–21/hour
Do you like figuring out why a machine stopped, and getting it running again before anyone misses a beat? Join our print shop in Roxana, IL as a Maintenance Technician and own the equipment that keeps production moving. You'll work on digital flatbed, screen and pad printers, plus the rest of our mechanical equipment and facility. It's hands-on work with variety every day, and your experience directly shapes how well the whole shop runs.
You won't be a "call when it breaks" tech here. We want your ideas on making our equipment more reliable and our processes smarter, and we'll give you room to grow your skills and your career.
What You'll Do
Keep everything in top shape with scheduled preventive maintenance on our printers and production equipment
Track down the root cause when something goes wrong, and fix it fast to keep downtime low
Repair equipment and replace worn or defective parts
Weld and operate a forklift as projects call for it
Work with manufacturers, vendors and contractors to get technical support and parts
Keep accurate maintenance records so the team always knows the state of the equipment
Help lead projects that improve equipment reliability and efficiency
Follow safety protocols to keep yourself and your teammates safe
What You Bring
Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Comfort reading technical manuals and blueprints
Strong troubleshooting skills
Welding skills and the ability to operate a forklift
Attention to detail in both your repairs and your documentation
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime, when production needs it
A safety-first mindset
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational training or a maintenance certification is a plus
- Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred

Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, climb and bend for extended periods
- Use tools with good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Bend, kneel, crawl, twist and reach to work in tight or awkward spaces
- Work in confined spaces, at heights and in varying weather conditions
