We’re seeking a Maintenance Planning & Reliability Coordinator to be the communication hub and scheduling engine for our lab’s maintenance program—optimizing uptime, aligning work to production needs, and enabling smooth preventive and predictive maintenance.
What you’ll do
- Plan and sequence maintenance work to minimize equipment downtime and maximize lab throughput.
- Develop clear work instructions, define safety requirements, and prepare job kits and materials.
- Source and stage parts for planned and PM work orders; generate purchase requests for repairs, replacements, and contracted services.
- Balance and prioritize planned, preventive, predictive, and project work across assigned lab areas, synced with production schedules.
- Estimate craft hours and skill requirements for planned and preventive tasks.
- Lead weekly coordination meetings with Operations, Technical, and Maintenance teams to align on priorities.
- Coordinate weekend and planned downtime activities to ensure successful execution.
- Create, edit, and improve PM tasks in the Megamation CMMS to reflect current best practices.
- Schedule vendor/contractor activities for equipment preventive maintenance.
- Pitch in on special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
What you bring
- Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 3+ years in highly automated, lean/continuous-flow manufacturing.
- Proficiency with a CMMS; experience driving workflows and data accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Sound, independent decision-making and strong follow-through.
- Organized, proactive problem solver who can lead root-cause efforts on lab equipment issues.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime when needed by leadership.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk in combination for up to 10 hours.
Preferred
- Working knowledge of Megamation/Megamations CMMS planning and inventory modules.
