General Description

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the coordination, oversight, and execution of all facilities-related maintenance and operations, including building infrastructure, logistics equipment, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) stockroom inventory. This hands-on leadership role ensures reliable operations through a structured preventative maintenance approach, efficient resource management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maximize equipment reliability through the implementation and management of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), including regular updates and task management.
  • Direct and perform routine and emergency facility maintenance with internal technicians and external contractors.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance agreements related to facilities and logistics equipment.
  • Source and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for repairs, projects, and operational needs.
  • Maintain daily maintenance logs and ensure timely and accurate data entry.
  • Review and assign work orders through the CMMS platform.
  • Supervise the MRO stockroom, including inventory control, receiving, and oversight of the Stockroom Clerk.
  • Oversee maintenance activities across up to five distribution centers in North America (approximately 10% travel required).

  • Associate degree in a technical or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse maintenance environment.

Physical demands

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift items up to 50 lbs.

  • Exposure to mechanical equipment, heat, and moderate noise levels.
