Unarmed Security Officer – Keller, Texas
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Hours vary – must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Keller, TX. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a distribution center environment, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas within the distribution center
- Check vehicles and trucks in and out of the facility
- Work closely with receiving clerks and site personnel to ensure smooth operations
- Write detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports
- Operate computer systems and complete digital logs accurately
- Provide assistance and direction to visitors and employees as needed
- Maintain a professional presence at all times
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Level II Texas Guard Card
- Must be 21 years or older
- Prior experience in a distribution center required
- Good computer skills and report writing ability
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to stand for 6 or more hours and work well with others
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays if needed
