Leasing Consultant – Full‐Time

We are seeking an energetic, professional, and customer‐focused Leasing Consultant to support leasing and resident experience across multiple apartment communities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is motivated by creating strong first impressions, driving occupancy, and delivering excellent service throughout the leasing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Prospect Management

  • Respond promptly to all leasing inquiries via phone, email, and online channels
  • Schedule, conduct, and follow up on property tours to convert prospects into residents
  • Assist prospective residents through the application, screening, and approval process
  • Maintain accurate prospect and leasing activity in property management software
  • Monitor competitor pricing, concessions, and availability to stay market‐competitive
  • Deliver a high‐touch, professional leasing experience from first contact through move‐in

Marketing Support

  • Maintain and update online marketing listings and property advertisements
  • Support leasing promotions, specials, and marketing initiatives
  • Communicate property features, amenities, and community benefits confidently
  • Provide feedback to ownership on market trends, pricing, and leasing performance

Resident Experience

  • Assist new residents with a smooth move‐in process, including orientation and building information
  • Serve as a frontline contact for resident questions and general requests
  • Help residents understand lease terms and direct billing or account questions appropriately
  • Communicate professionally and empathetically when addressing concerns

Maintenance & Property Coordination

  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule unit turns and support leasing timelines
  • Maintain an understanding of unit readiness and common maintenance issues
  • Assist with light troubleshooting and ensure requests are routed efficiently
  • Support communication between residents, maintenance staff, and vendors

Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of leasing, customer service, or property management experience preferred
  • Strong sales and interpersonal skills with a customer‐first mindset
  • Organized and detail‐oriented with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
  • Comfortable using leasing software, CRMs, and online marketing platforms
  • Professional, polished communicator—written and verbal
  • Proactive, dependable, and self‐motivated, especially during slower leasing periods
