Job Description
We are in immediate need of Groundskeepers&nbsp;to support the organization’s operations through horticulture and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate for this position has experience and a strong interest in learning more, gardening, and tree care.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Mow, weed-eat &amp; clear underbrush using gas-powered equipment</li>
<li>Weeding, trimming, pruning, and other horticultural duties as assigned to ensure the health of plants and trees</li>
<li>Knowledge and some repairs to lawn equipment.</li>
<li>Assist with the care of plants, flowers, grass, trees, and shrubs as directed (i.e. mulch garden beds, prune plants, remove dead vegetation)</li>
<li>Maintain a neat appearance at the organization's sites through regular trash pick-up and trash pulls, curb maintenance, and other duties as needed</li>
<li>Follow safety rules and regulations</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Valid driver’s license preferred</li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs repetitively</li>
<li>Proficient in using lawn equipment and power tools safely</li>
<li>Ability to bend, push, pull, stoop, and stand for long periods of time</li>
<li>Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time</li>
</ul>
**You must have verifiable work history as a Groundskeeper/Lawncare associate**
