Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Onsite)
Location: Orlando, FL 32809
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Compensation: $24.00/hour
Type: (40 hours per week)

Job Overview

An established production site in Orlando is seeking a dedicated?Maintenance Technician. This onsite position is responsible for performing vital maintenance and repair tasks to ensure productivity and operational efficiency across a range of systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electronic repairs on equipment, including conveyor systems, printers, and sorting equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activities per TQM and vendor standards.
  • Communicate and escalate serious equipment issues to the Lead Technician as necessary.
  • Regularly review and utilize vendor technical manuals and publications.
  • Provide training and assistance to other site technicians.
  • Manage inventory, preventative maintenance schedules, and work order systems; maintain spare parts and supply inventory.
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, and resolve equipment problems in a timely manner.
  • Complete all additional duties as required for site operations.

Requirements

  • 0–20 years of maintenance experience (all experience levels welcome).
  • Technical and mechanical troubleshooting skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
  • Must work onsite; remote/virtual work is not available for this role.

Additional Information

  • Contract role with potential for permanent hire.
  • Standard 40-hour work week.
  • Competitive pay at $24.00/hour.
