Job Title: Part-Time Painter/Porter – Apartment Community (Escondido, CA)
Location: Escondido, CA
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Pay: $24-$26.00 (based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Painter/Porter to join our team at a well-maintained apartment community in Escondido. This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and enjoys keeping a community clean and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interior and exterior painting as needed (units, common areas, touch-ups)
- Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding, patching, and priming
- Maintain cleanliness of the property, including grounds, walkways, and common areas
- Assist with trash removal and keeping dumpster areas clean
- Support maintenance team with light tasks and unit turns
- Ensure tools and supplies are organized and properly stored
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous painting or porter/janitorial experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and work quality
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions
