JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the management of the commercial real estate and C & I loan portfolios with duties consisting of reviewing operating performance of commercial real estate assets, ongoing monitoring of borrowers’ financial position, covenant testing, preparing annual loan reviews, and organizing portfolio data for internal and external reporting purposes.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and the community in which it serves.
Structure financing terms and perform due diligence on potential commercial real estate transactions by implementing property valuation methodologies, reviewing rent rolls and lease terms, analyzing credit and financial performance of tenants, determining pro-forma NOI and debt serviceability, and researching market data including capitalization rates, rental rates, and other key metrics.
Monitor and service the commercial real estate and C & I portfolios by preparing annual loan reviews, analyzing the operating performance of real estate assets, performing collateral valuations based on a property’s NOI and current market capitalization rates, analyzing rent rolls and preparing lease synopses for key tenants, collecting customer and real estate financial data, testing financial covenants, and assessing and recommending loan risk ratings.
Perform commercial real estate underwriting functions including analyzing data from appraisals, determining pro-forma NOI and debt serviceability, assessing loan-to-value ratios, reviewing tenants’ lease terms and structures, researching market data, and preparing global cash flow analyses of guarantors.
Correspond daily with customers for relationship servicing needs including billing issues, loan advances, interest rate swap valuations, and general inquiries.
Provide daily ad hoc customer support on time sensitive issues.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent plus specialized training in lending, credit or related subjects. (3) three plus years of formal credit and SBA experience. Business development experience helpful. Able to analyze financial statements. Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills. Must have excellent computer skills including the Internet and Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word and Excel. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
INITIATIVE
Tasks performed by this position are varied and require knowledge of commercial lending process. Employee performs work within established guidelines and according to specific procedures. Works independently, plans and arranges own work, referring only unusual cases to supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITY
Typical errors could be incorrect data entry on borrower’s accounts. Errors are generally easily detected and corrected. May have minor adverse external effects. This position has access to all customer loan information through the loan documentation process and system information. Regular interdepartmental or external business contacts, furnishing or obtaining information; requires tact and courtesy.

Normal. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hand to finger, handle controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Eligibility
