Sign-On Bonus: $1,000Shift Availability
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (+$0.50 shift premium)
- 3rd Shift:10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (+$0.50 shift premium)
- Schedule: Monday through Saturday
Compensation
- Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience)
Position SummaryAllegiance Staffing in Greer, SC is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Gastonia, NC. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. You will perform both mechanical and electrical maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and support continuous production operations.Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems
- Dismantle machinery, replace defective parts, and adjust mechanisms
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain machine components
- Conduct welding (TIG), fabrication, and hydraulic press operations
- Perform plumbing, painting, and general facility maintenance
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems and fixtures
- Troubleshoot PLC systems and production equipment control circuits
- Analyze and improve electronic and mechanical systems for efficiency
- Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts as needed
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Experience with TIG welding and hydraulic press operations required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- PLC experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Assessment Requirement
- Candidates must complete a Mechanical Aptitude Assessment during the hiring process
