Industrial Janitor / Sanitation Associate
Pay: $17/hr. - $18/hr.
We are seeking dependable individuals to join a fast-paced warehouse and production facility in Waverly, NY. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the facility.
Current Temporary Schedule (Monday-Thursday, 10-Hour Shifts):
- 1st Shift: 2:00 AM - 12:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
Current schedules are temporary and subject to change based on operational needs.
Regular Operating Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize production, warehouse, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and locker areas
- Restock paper products and sanitation supplies
- Assist with warehouse housekeeping and organization
- Clean spills and address safety hazards promptly
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Reliable transportation and attendance required
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning experience is preferred but not required
