We seek a motivated, energetic and organized candidate with a positive attitude and a big smile, to be trained in Slip Leasing for our marina on Lake Lanier. This position is approximately 50% Customer Service, and 50% Accounting.
The Customer Service duties include:
§ Interaction with boaters to market and rent Slips
§ Negotiate and complete contracts
§ Explain marina policy to customers
§ Accept payments
§ Explain account balances
§ Direct inquiries to the appropriate department
Accounting functions include:
§ Accounts Receivables
§ Accounts Payable
§ Billing
§ Various utilization of our computer system to include customer setup, scheduling boat launch/retrieval, data input and special projects as required.
Extensive training will be provided, including our software system.
This is a year-round position 5 days/week, 9am to 5-6pm WITH ONE WEEKEND DAY either Saturday or Sunday required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should be familiar with office type PC software such as Word, Outlook and Excel. Property Management experience is helpful, including such industries as self-storage, apartment/condo, campground or hotel.
