Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Livingston, TX. This position is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance and repair tasks on building systems, equipment, and residential units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry. Day-to-day duties include responding to maintenance requests, completing work orders, conducting inspections, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and curb appeal. The Maintenance Technician will support unit turns, assist with property improvement projects, and coordinate with vendors when specialized services are needed. This role also involves communicating clearly and professionally with residents and team members, following safety protocols, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.\n

- Strong skills in equipment maintenance and general maintenance & repair.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and industrial maintenance tasks.
- Proficient in troubleshooting building systems and mechanical issues.
- Experience with residential property maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety standards, tools, and best practices for on-site maintenance work.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused, professional demeanor when interacting with residents and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple work orders, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, maintenance) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet any required background or compliance checks.
