Temporary Apartment Maintenance Technician

The Apartment Maintenance Technician will have strong people skills and a positive attitude, they will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the community assigned under the direction of the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be able to handle work orders, make-readies, grounds, and any other preventative maintenance needed to upkeep the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Basic Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, and Drywall skills

· Appliance Repairs/Troubleshoot

· Make Readies as scheduled

· Upkeep the property grounds

· Preventative Maintenance to include sprinkler system, smoke detector, and fire extinguishers

• The Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
• Location: Kalamazoo, MI, 49009
• Pay Rate: $22-$24/hourly (DOE and certificates)

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Apartment Maintenance (similar experience welcomed)

· Basic Tools Needed

· HVAC Cert and CPO preferred but not required

· Reliable Transportation

· Outgoing, self-motivated and highly reliable

· Ability to work alone at times, with little to no supervision

· Must be able to lift 50lbs

· Use of Hand Tools and Power Tools
