Senior Superintendent – Mission Critical

We’re working with a leading General Contractor looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead mission critical construction projects across Iowa.

\n

\n

This is a hands-on field leadership role for an experienced Superintendent who knows how to take ownership of a complex project, lead a strong field team, and keep subcontractors aligned from start to finish. You’ll join a well-established contractor with a strong project pipeline and opportunities to grow.

\n

\n

What You’ll Do:

\n

\n
• Oversee overall field operations from ground-up construction through project completion.

\n

• Lead the field team, providing direction and support to Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents.

\n

• Coordinate subcontractors, manage jobsite logistics, and drive schedule milestones across all trades.

\n

• Lead daily field meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings to keep teams aligned.

\n

• Plan ahead to resolve field challenges, manage sequencing, and prevent delays.

\n

• Set expectations for safety, quality, and accountability throughout the jobsite.

\n

• Work closely with project management and owners to address challenges and deliver a successful project.

\n

What They’re Looking For:

\n

\n
• Senior Superintendent experience, or a strong track record as a lead Superintendent with a General Contractor

\n

• Experience overseeing large, complex ground-up projects

\n

• Background in mission critical, data centers, advanced manufacturing, or other complex commercial construction

\n

• Proven ability to lead field teams and manage multiple subcontractors and scopes

\n

• Strong scheduling, planning, and communication skills

\n

• A leader who develops others, takes ownership, and follows through

\n
