We seek a Journeyman Facilities Manager available to start immediately and capable of thriving in a challenging, process‑oriented environment. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of operations for facilities, buildings, warehouses, and surrounding areas that enable Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDCs) across the Pacific region. You will ensure all facilities and infrastructure remain maintained, operational, and aligned with mission requirements, including scalability for surge conditions and resilience in contested or degraded environments.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to mission‑critical logistics and distribution operations. You will work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and may operate in austere or contested locations, with a focus on sustaining continuous JTDC facility readiness.

- Available salary ranges for these positions are dependent on position location, and based on the candidate's education, experience, and qualifications. Salary ranges for each location are below:
- Melbourne, Australia - $119,625 - $151,525
- Guam - $95,700 - $121,220
- Oahu, Hawaii - $136,125 - $172,425
- Okinawa, Japan - $82,500 - $104,500
- Philippines (Subic Bay area) - $78,375 - $99,275
- Seoul, South Korea - $80,850 - $102,410

Responsibilities:
\n
Facilities Planning and Coordination
\n
- \n
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans for the operation, maintenance, and sustainment of JTDC facilities, warehouses, and surrounding areas.
- Conduct site assessments to ensure facilities meet operational requirements and are prepared for rapid expansion or activation during crises.

Infrastructure Maintenance
\n

- Supervise the maintenance and operation of buildings, paved surfaces, utilities infrastructure, and real property assets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategies for communication redundancy and resilience against disruptions in contested environments.
- Identify and mitigate risks to facility operations.

Operations Management
\n

- Oversee day-to-day operations of JTDC facilities, ensuring continuous operational capability, including during surge conditions.
- Support maintenance, repair, and upgrades of buildings, warehouses, and surrounding areas to enable distribution operations.
- Ensure facilities are linked to theater movement control and transportation assets to support end-to-end logistics synchronization.
- Ensure facilities are optimized for receiving, processing, staging, and distributing cargo and materiel.

Personnel and Resource Management
\n

- Provide guidance and oversight to facility staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with established protocols.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies to support distribution operations.
- Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and schedules to meet operational objectives.
- Support the development of the facilities workforce, ensuring training, certifications, and qualifications are maintained.

Reporting and Documentation

- Prepare and submit regular reports on facility operations and readiness, maintenance activities, operational effectiveness, and incident/accident responses.
- Maintain accurate records of facility assets, maintenance schedules, and operational plans.
- Communicate facility conditions, risks, and strategic needs to senior leadership.

Security Clearance:
\n

- US Citizenship required; must possess a Secret clearance.
\n
\n
\n
Education and Experience:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Facilities Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, logistics, or a related field, preferably in a military or government environment.
- Experience supporting warehousing or similar logistics/distribution operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., CFM, FMP).
\n

Preferred Additional Skills:
\n

- Experience working in or with countries within the USINDOPACOM AOR is highly desirable.
- Good organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
