Riverbend Sandler Pools is seeking a dependable and motivated Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician to join our growing Service & Maintenance team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining residential swimming pools on an assigned route, ensuring each pool is clean, properly balanced, and operating as expected. This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and wants the opportunity to build a long-term career in the swimming pool industry.

Previous pool maintenance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who have the right attitude, work ethic, and mechanical aptitude.

What You'll Do

  • Perform weekly maintenance on residential swimming pools

  • Test and balance pool water chemistry

  • Add appropriate chemicals according to established procedures

  • Brush, skim, vacuum, and clean pools as needed

  • Empty skimmer and pump baskets

  • Inspect pool equipment during routine maintenance visits

  • Identify and report equipment problems or potential repair needs

  • Perform minor pool equipment repairs when appropriate

  • Maintain accurate records of completed pool visits and services

  • Communicate professionally with customers when necessary

  • Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the company-provided truck, tools, and equipment

  • Safely transport and handle pool chemicals and supplies

  • Follow all company safety procedures and driving requirements

  • Complete assigned routes efficiently while maintaining Riverbend Sandler Pools' service standards

What We're Looking For

  • Previous swimming pool maintenance experience preferred, but not required

  • Knowledge of pool water chemistry is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Dependable and able to work independently

  • Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage an assigned route and daily schedule

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn minor equipment repairs

  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Valid Texas driver's license

  • Must be 21 years or older

  • Ability to meet company driving requirements

  • Ability to comply with company safety policies and procedures

This is a year-round position, not seasonal employment. Work volume may increase during peak pool season, creating additional earning potential.
