Compensation: $20 - $25hr ( depending on years of experience)
Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Must Haves
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a commercial or residential environment
- Hands-on experience with multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and/or mechanical maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and soldering equipment
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Pluses
- Previous hospital or healthcare facility maintenance experience
- Experience working in a large commercial facility
- Preventive maintenance and work-order experience
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to support a large healthcare facility in Tampa, FL. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a facilities team within a 2-million-square-foot hospital. This is a hands-on maintenance position focused on keeping the facility operating safely and efficiently. The technician will support daily work orders, preventive maintenance, construction-related tasks, and ongoing facility projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete general maintenance and repair work throughout the facility
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical-related maintenance
- Respond to and complete facility work orders
- Support construction and facility improvement projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and soldering equipment as needed
- Properly document completed work and close out assigned work orders
- Work alongside Facilities leadership to reduce maintenance backlogs and improve PM completion rates
