Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community
Houma, LA
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Houma, Louisiana. We're looking for someone with apartment maintenance experience who is ready to jump in and help keep the community running smoothly. HVAC certification is not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete service requests in occupied apartment homes
- Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs
- Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Maintain the grounds and common areas as needed
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general maintenance
- HVAC experience is a plus, but certification is not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
