Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician – Chattanooga, TN – $27.77/hr
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our client in Chattanooga, TN. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems to support safe and efficient production. Responsibilities
· Inspect machinery and equipment for defects and perform preventative maintenance.
· Operate, maintain, and repair hydraulic presses, robots, assembly machines, boilers, compressors, and other plant equipment.
· Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems using an electric meter, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, soldering, and brazing.
· Work with quality, materials, and other support departments to meet production goals.
· Maintain the work area according to 5S standards and assist with material movement using a hand truck or forklift as needed.
· Handle major repairs and coordinate with contractors when required.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 2–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
· Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, robotics, and PLCs.
· Solid 480 VAC 3-phase electrical experience.
· Strong troubleshooting skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer operations.
· Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and technical information.
· Must provide own tools.
· Must pass a background and drug screen.
· Must have steel-toe shoes.
Schedule & Pay
· Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
· Overtime: On the weekends as needed
· Pay: $27.77/hr, overtime available
