Facilities Maintenance and Reliability Lead

Reliable equipment, safe facilities, and predictable utilities are the backbone of any successful plant. In this role, you’ll elevate uptime, champion safety, and embed reliability practices across production equipment, building systems, and site services.

What you'll lead

• All maintenance operations for production equipment, buildings, building systems (HVAC, electrical, gas, water), and grounds.
• Utilities management and wastewater treatment performance.
• Site security operations: guard services, ID badge control, and contractor/visitor access.
• Full lifecycle of maintenance programs—planning, organizing, directing, and controlling.
• Team leadership for Maintenance personnel, including scheduling, coaching, and performance oversight.
• Procurement and inventory of parts/supplies to enable on-time work completion.
• Vendor administration for third-party services: security, janitorial, and landscaping.

• Reduced unplanned downtime and optimized equipment performance.
• Safe, orderly work environments in Maintenance and Wastewater Treatment areas.
• Preventive maintenance programs that are timely, documented, and effective.
• Flawless coordination with Engineering on new equipment installations.
• Clear communication, rapid emergency response, and sound decisions.

Your qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; B.S. in Engineering (or similar) preferred.
• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gas systems, manufacturing equipment, building codes, and mechanics.
• Demonstrated ability to act fast in emergencies and resolve problems at the root cause.
• Capability to plan, organize, direct, and control work and resources.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with a wide range of personalities.
• Analytical, disciplined problem-solving approach; good judgment and decision-making.
• Ability to motivate and develop team members; lead change and continuous improvement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Excellent communicator—listening, writing, speaking, and presenting.
• Self-motivated, results oriented, and a committed team player.
