Job Description

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Culver’s of Arden, North Carolina

$20.00 – $24.00 / hour

Based on experience & skill set | Full-Time or Part-Time | Morning Hours

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a skilled, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to keep our restaurant running smoothly. This is a hands-on, purely maintenance-focused role — no customer service or floor duties. You’ll work independently during morning hours, taking care of repairs and upkeep before the lunch rush begins, and you’ll make a real, visible difference every single day.

This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. The right schedule will be worked out based on your availability — what matters most is that key maintenance tasks are wrapped up by 10–11 AM.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Perform general repairs throughout the restaurant — fixtures, hardware, and more

• Maintain and service kitchen equipment to ensure reliable day-to-day operation

• Handle basic plumbing repairs and upkeep

• Patch, prep, and paint walls and surfaces as needed

• Maintain HVAC units and restaurant equipment

• Power wash and clean exterior areas, awnings, and rooftop equipment

• Maintain exterior landscaping — mulching, bed upkeep, and trash & debris cleanup around the building

• Replace or repair exhaust fans, hoods, and ventilation components

• Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance needs proactively

• Assist with truck order days by organizing and putting away inventory (2–3x per week)

SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred. The more you bring to the table, the higher end of our pay range you’ll land:

General Handyman & Repairs

Plumbing

Painting & Drywall

Basic Electrical

HVAC & Equipment Maintenance

Exterior Cleaning & Power Washing

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing quality work

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong problem-solving skills and sharp attention to detail

• Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions

• Own tools preferred — but not required; we’re open to discussing

• Available mornings; most work should be completed by 10–11 AM

WHAT WE OFFER

• $20–$24/hour, based on your experience and skill set

• Full-time or part-time — we’re flexible for the right person

• A stable, consistent morning schedule

• Supportive team environment at a well-established, locally owned restaurant

• Employee meal discounts

HOW TO APPLY

If you’re a hands-on problem-solver who takes pride in your craft, we’d love to hear from you. This role is available immediately.
