Job Description

Career Strategies is looking for a reliable Apartment HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you enjoy variety in your workday—moving from plumbing repairs to electrical troubleshooting and preparing apartments for new move-ins—this is the role for you.

As a key member of our onsite team, you will be responsible for keeping our community running smoothly and ensuring our residents have a safe, comfortable place to call home.

What You’ll Do

As our go-to HVAC expert, you will be responsible for the diagnostic, repair, and preventative maintenance of heating and cooling systems across the property.

System Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC units (split systems, heat pumps, etc.).
General Repairs: Assist the maintenance team with plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs as needed.
Make-Ready Support: Ensure vacant units are in top shape for new move-ins, specifically focusing on climate control.
Preventative Care: Execute seasonal maintenance schedules (filter changes, coil cleaning, etc.) to extend equipment life.
Resident Service: Respond to work orders promptly and provide excellent customer service to our residents.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in residential HVAC repair or apartment maintenance.
Certification: EPA Type II or Universal Certification is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in charging AC units, brazing/soldering, and reading electrical schematics.
Availability: Ability to participate in an "on-call" rotation for after-hours emergencies.
Tools: Must have a basic set of hand tools
