NOW HIRING: JANITOR
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the facility to ensure a safe and professional work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Experience operating a sit-down forklift is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
- Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces to maintain facility appearance.
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete daily maintenance tasks.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
- Maintain organized storage areas and janitorial supplies.
- Assist with basic facility tasks and material movement as needed.
- Operate a sit-down forklift when required (experience preferred).
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be able to speak English.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Sit-down forklift experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
