Job Title: O&M Technician - Commercial Solar Photovoltaic Systems
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled O&M Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of commercial photovoltaic systems. This role requires travel and the ability to work independently to ensure solar assets are operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Support maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of commercial photovoltaic systems.
- Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure solar assets are operating safely and efficiently.
- Conduct conduit installation, wire pulls, and conductor replacement.
- Utilize boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts proficiently.
- Perform electrical testing and apply troubleshooting techniques.
- Service and repair inverters from manufacturers such as SMA, SolarEdge, Enphase, Fronius, Delta, and PVI.
- Operate and diagnose issues using SolarEdge, SMA, Enphase, SunPower, Satcon, and Xantrex monitoring platforms.
Essential Skills
- Experience with commercial solar photovoltaic systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing solar inverters.
- Competency in fall protection and operation of hand and power tools.
- Experience with electrical testing and commercial PV maintenance.
- Familiarity with using monitoring platforms such as SolarEdge, SMA, Enphase, SunPower, Satcon, and Xantrex.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Competency in using boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
- Experience with conduit installation and wire pulling.

Work Environment
Work at outdoor commercial and industrial solar sites. The role requires frequent climbing, lifting, and working at heights. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Friday work based on project needs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Ontario, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
