US Trades is hiring an experienced Site Safety Coordinator for an active conveyor-system construction site.

OSHA 500 IS REQUIRED. Applicants without a current OSHA 500 certification will not be considered.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily jobsite inspections and identify unsafe conditions
  • Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and new-hire orientations
  • Monitor conveyor installation, electrical, mechanical, rigging, and material-handling activities
  • Enforce fall-protection, lockout/tagout, PPE, aerial-lift, forklift, and hazard-communication requirements
  • Verify employee training and required safety documentation
  • Complete incident investigations, corrective-action reports, and OSHA recordkeeping
  • Review job hazard analyses and pre-task plans
  • Work with site leadership, subcontractors, and field employees to correct safety concerns
  • Maintain an organized and compliant safety program throughout the project

Required qualifications:

  • Current OSHA 500 certification—no exceptions
  • Previous construction-site safety experience
  • Conveyor-system installation experience strongly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA construction standards
  • Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple trades
  • Willingness to work the hours required by the project schedule
