Job description
A Maintenance assistant will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Some other tasks a Maintenance assistant may be called upon to do include:

Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance

Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems

Attention to detail
-
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner

Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building

Clean interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and exterior of the building
-
Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervison
-
Comply with all safety and health regulations

Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisor
-
Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
Job Type: Full-time with benefits: Insurance, vision, dental, 401K, short term disability, life insurance and much more.
Pay: From $15.00 - 17.00 per hour (Based on Ecxperience)
