• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Location: Arlington Heights
• Temporary opportunity: August 17th -August 21st 2026

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility maintenance operations during a short-term assignment. In this role, you will perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and general building upkeep to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting daily maintenance needs.Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems and equipment
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and inspections assigned
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and assist with repairs in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and document completed maintenance activities

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous maintenance technician, facilities maintenance, or building maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair practices
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the shift
