Community Skilled Health Care Centre is looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This role is key to keeping our building safe, functional, and comfortable for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility

• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting

• Complete work orders in a timely manner

• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment

• Help with preventative maintenance programs

• Assist with room turnovers and setup

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Prior maintenance experience preferred (healthcare or skilled nursing a plus)

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repairs

• Ability to work independently and follow direction

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull as needed
