About the Company
We are a full-service real estate company that acquires quality homes and leases them to Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher holders in order to break the cycle of poverty. We are a fast growing company and are looking for well qualified people to join our hard working team.
Position
We are seeking a tenacious Acquisition Analyst to join our team and source, underwrite, and acquire single family homes in our target markets. The general responsibilities of the Acquisition Analyst are outlined below:

Develop knowledge of residential housing market, particularly in our targeted areas, and build relationships with sellers and sellers’ agents to source future deal flow

Source and identify acquisition opportunities for single family homes through multiple channels, including MLS, iBuyers, new construction, and off market deals

Underwrite the opportunities based on our investment criteria, targeted areas, and home characteristics

Work alongside the leasing team to carry out market-specific strategies for asset selection and match supply to demand in order to optimize acquisition and leasing pace

Underwrite the acquisition of screened homes and develop an offer price and terms strategy

Coordinate with sellers’ agents, submit offers and negotiate deals to get homes under contract

Negotiate required seller credit, price reduction, or seller repairs as needed based on assessment of home condition in coordination with the maintenance team

Assist in developing and managing reporting processes to track data and optimize sourcing, workflow, purchase opportunities and success rate

Ad hoc projects and analyses as needed

Hard working, ability to work on transactions over the weekends to capture purchase opportunities swiftly as they arise and be responsive to sellers to win deals

Organized and process driven, ability to stay on top of the various aspects of their responsibilities with timely follow-up

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

An eagerness to learn the business and produce at a high level

Ability to work well within a team

Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Prior real estate/underwriting experience and real estate license is preferred, but not required, as is experience with property valuations and market data
