MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT

New Holstein, WI

Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday | $0.60/hr shift differential

Pay: $29-$31/hour plus shift differential

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A food manufacturer is adding a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician at its New Holstein, WI plant. The company is known for promoting from within, so there is real room to grow.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Perform preventive, routine and emergency maintenance on plant buildings and production equipment

- Troubleshoot production equipment and keep it running

- Monitor equipment pressures and flow rates

- Monitor boiler performance, water quality and air quality

- Maintain PM logs and sanitation log records on time

- Perform general facility maintenance, including sanitary and structural welding

- Operate a forklift (must become forklift certified)

- Work with outside vendors and contractors on facility projects

- Keep management informed of potential issues

- Follow all LOTO, permit-required confined space (PRCS) and plant safety procedures

WHAT YOU NEED

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Desire to learn and the initiative to take ownership

- Able to pass forklift license certification

- Welding experience is a plus, not required

- Must be legally authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available now or in the future
