Job Description Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Location: Rural Hall Shift: 2nd shift 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Pay: $28.00–$32.00 DOE Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Maintenance Mechanic with a strong background in industrial maintenance. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment within a warehouse setting while minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and contributing to the overall efficiency of operations. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on conveyor systems, forklifts, packaging machinery, and other warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Complete preventive maintenance plans to support equipment reliability and longevity.
- Repair malfunctioning equipment promptly and effectively to minimize downtime.
- Install and set up new machinery as needed.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members to resolve complex equipment issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and identify and correct equipment or workplace hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Provide input for the development of maintenance procedures and manuals.
- Coordinate with other departments and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support seamless operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various temperatures and weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
