Job Summary Knights Armor Security, LLC is seeking reliable and professional Armed Security Officers (Flex) to support multiple client sites. This position is ideal for officers who are adaptable, dependable, and capable of working varying shifts, locations, and assignments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide a strong visual deterrent and maintain a secure environment
- Conduct routine patrols (vehicle and/or foot)
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
- Enforce client policies and site-specific procedures
- Write detailed and accurate incident and activity reports
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- De-escalate conflicts using sound judgment and training
Flex Position Expectations
- Must be available for on-call and last-minute scheduling
- Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Willingness to travel to different job sites within assigned region
- Step in to cover call-offs, special assignments, or high-priority posts
Qualifications
- 3 years experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
- Active Level III (Armed) Security License (Texas)
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience
- Experience working in residential, retail, or high-risk environments
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation training
