Part-Time/Fulltime Security Officer

Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour (based on experience and assignment)
Schedule: We are currently recruiting for Part Time shifts from 3pm-11pm, 8pm-12am, and 6pm-10pm. These are mainly WEEKEND SHIFTS. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Officers that perform well in a Part Time role will be given consideration for Full Time shifts.

We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented individuals to join our team as Part-Time Security Officers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, guests, and employees
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle
- Monitor entrances, exits, and access points
- Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, and safety concerns
- Complete incident reports accurately and professionally
- Enforce client policies and procedures
- Assist with crowd management at events and venues
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and disturbances
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence
QualificationsRequired:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone with internet access
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred:
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or customer service experience
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Alabama Security Regulatory Board certification (not required for all positions)
