Pay: $25
Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the performance and condition of all plant machinery and equipment.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of safety and security procedures to protect personnel, equipment, and facility operations.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis on equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Implement and manage a proactive preventive maintenance schedule to ensure consistent operation of all machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections, installations, adjustments, and repairs of equipment across the plant.
• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve equipment-related production challenges.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for equipment service history.
• Recommend and assist in the procurement of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to department goals by performing related tasks as assigned.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform maintenance-related duties as required to maintain continuous production.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance (preferably in paper or packaging)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
